Dr Ruchir Mehta completed his residency in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai in 2013 and Drashti Netralaya, Dahod in 2015. He did his fellowship in uvea and vitreoretina from Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru in 2017. He trained in retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad in 2018. He obtained his FRCS Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom in 2018 and MRCS Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom in 2019. He has also cleared FICO and FAICO successfully. He has authored multiple papers in national and international peer reviewed journals and has presented research papers in various state and national conferences. He worked as vitreoretina consultant at Drashti Netralaya, Dahod in 2018. He joined MSEH as uvea and vitreoretina consultant in the end of 2018. He is honorary vitreoretina consultant in Ophthalmology department at Guru Gobindsingh Government Hospital, Jamnagar, Gujarat.
