Dr. Meenakshi is the Chief Medical Officer of Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli and also has been the Chief of Paediatric Ophthalmology department since 1999. She graduated in medicine from Madras Medical College, D.O from Reginal Institute of Opthalmology, Madras Medical College and D.N.B from Aravind Eye Hospital. She has got Special Training in Pediatrics’ at Institute of Child Health, Madras Government General Hospital, Madras Medical College.She has been the reviewer and speaker for Instruction Course & Free Paper in State / National level conferences and published in National & International Journals. She has presented free papers at National / State level conference. She won the best paper award at the session in the TNOA.
