After initial schooling and pre-medical at Kurukshetra, joined JNM College, A.M.U. Aligarh in 1975 and passed M.S. Ophthalmology in 1984.After a brief stint at Venu Eye Institute, joined S.R.D. eye Hospital Sirsa and started his own eye hospital at Hisar Road, Sirsa in 1989.He is married to Mrs. Renuka and has two daughters, Dr. Nishtha and Dr. Nikita and a son, Ayush.He is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and has surgical proficiency in topical phaco with all types of IOL’s like mono-focal, bifocal, trifocal, toric lenses etc. He is also regularly doing Lasik and ICL procedures as well as Squint and Oculoplastic surgeries.He is pursuing ophthalmology religiously and enjoys social service at various platforms like IMA local and state level, Shree Hanumant Foundation, Thalassemia welfare Society, Lions Club etc.
