He completed his graduation with a gold medal from Smolensk state academy and followed that with post graduation in ophthalmology from prestigious Sankara eye hospital. He then pursued superspeciality in vitreoretinal surgery and ocular oncology at Sankara eye hospital, Bangalore. He has performed more than 10000 surgeries and his experience includes management of complicated cataract cases and retinal surgeries. Academically he is very active and has many presentations at national conferences and has won awards for the same.
