Niroj Kumar Sahoo completed his primary medical education from Veer Surendra Sai Medical College, Burla, India, and his post-graduation in Ophthalmology from Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry. He completed his research fellowship followed by a long-term clinical fellowship in the retina and vitreous from L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. His areas of interest are macular and choroidal disorders.Dr Sahoo is keenly involved in the research of imaging in macular disorders and has published several papers in peer-reviewed high-impact journals. He is a fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology and an active member of the All India Ophthalmological Society.
