Dr Chetan Anand is a practising ophthalmologist associated with Nethradhama Superspeciality Eye Hospital as a consultant since 2014. He completed his MBBS in the year 2004 from Mysore Medical College. He further did his Masters in Ophthalmology from the prestigious King George Medical College, Lucknow in 2008. He did his Sir Ratan Tata fellowship in Cataract Micro surgery (Basic and Advanced) from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He was awarded fellowship in Cornea and External Eye diseases from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in year 2010. He was previously Head of Cornea, and was also Surgical trainer at Lions NAB Eye Hospital at Miraj. Dr Chetan Anand is an experienced, skilled doctor in his field of specialization. He is specialized in Cataract, Cornea and Ocular surface surgeries, Refractive and Squint surgeries. His special interest is Advanced cataract surgeries, Phakic Intraocular lenses and refractive surgeries. Dr Chetan Anand is a member of KOS, AIOS, UPSOS, Strabismological Society of India and has presented several papers in KOS, AIOS, UPSOS and SSI conferences. He has also written many articles for public awareness in newspapers and has done several radio & TV talks for public awareness He is also a NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospital & Healthcare providers- constituent board of Quality council of India) Assessor for carrying out assessments of Hospitals against NABH healthcare organization Accreditation, Certification & Empanelment standards since 2019.
