He completed his post graduation in ophthalmology from prestigious Nagri eye hospital(VS hospital), Ahmedabad in 1985. This was followed up by super speciality training in oculoplasty at Moorfield eye hospital, London and in refractive surgery at Fvodorov eye institute, Moscow. He then established his clinic at Rajkot in the year 1986 and was among the first surgeons to perform refractive surgery for spectacle removal in saurashtra region. Over the years he has become synonymous with excellence in his field with his immense experience and tens of thousands happy faces of his patients is an testament to that.
