Graduated from Tanjavur Medical College and finished his post-graduation of DO and DNB from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital and the Post Graduate Institute of Opthalmology, Madurai. Completed long term fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus from the same institution. Had training in refractive surgery from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. Has passed international council of ophthalmology exam. A surgeon with immense experience in cataract, cornea, squint and retina. Won best paper award in the field of cornea at TNOA 2015. He has a special interest in Keratoconus and pentacam analysis. Worked as a medical officer in Theni Eye Hospital. Is presently the chief consultant of paediatric ophthalmology and refractive surgery unit of KS Eye Hospital, Erode.
